The Jennings Family

On a personal note, I'm married to Caitlin, who was my high school sweetheart, and we have three children, Maeve, Jackson and Tomi. We also have a Siberian Husky named Luna. In our spare time, Caitlin, the kids, and I enjoy sports and walking/hiking local trails in the area. Our family loves being outdoors and are very intentional about spending time as a family in nature!

April Update: Distracted Driving Awareness Month

A few seconds can change everything. State Farm has launched a Distracted Driving Awareness Campaign to help keep drivers (and everyone on the road) safer.

Why it matters

Distracted driving is preventable—and it increases crash risk fast:

  • Taking your eyes off the road for just 2 seconds can double your crash risk.

  • Texting takes about 4.6 seconds on average. At 55 mph, that’s about a football field traveled with your eyes off the road.

  • Research links texting while driving to a 23× higher likelihood of a safety‐critical event.

How to reduce distractions

  • Turn on Do Not Disturb While Driving

  • Set your navigation and music before you drive

  • If you must respond, pull over safely first
